이럴줄 알았다. 연휴는 언제나 눈을 깜빡이면 금세 마지막 날이 되어있다. 아침을 먹고 작업실로 와서 오후를 보내고 있다. 몇가지 촬영을 하고, 설거지를 한 후, 천천히 정리를 하고 있다. 부엌 한구석의 오븐에서는 고구마가 구워져가고 있고, 지금 이시간 작업실은 딱 좋은 조도. 마음을 편안하게 만들어준다.

구워져가는 고구마를 바라보다 문득 창밖을 보니 어제 내린눈에 지붕은 새하얗고 창에는 고드름이 매달려 있는게 아닌가. 아. 정말 겨울이구나... 라며 멍때리며 한참을 창밖을 바라보았다. 다시 컴퓨터 앞에 앉아 흘러나오는 음악을 들으며 이 시간을 기록한다.

음. 좋은 날이다. 1월 중 꽤 괜찮은 하루로 기억될만큼 좋은 날이다.
